Role Overview

We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor Intern to support our remote video production workflow. You will edit engaging short-form and long-form video content for social media, client marketing campaigns, and internal projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube).
• Produce promotional reels, ad creatives, corporate media, and onboarding videos.
• Work with AI avatar video platforms, integrating provided scripts and voiceovers.
• Apply motion graphics, dynamic captions, sound effects, music, and smooth transitions.
• Incorporate feedback from project leads to revise and finalize video assets.
• Consistently deliver high-quality video edits on schedule.

Requirements & Skills

• Basic to intermediate proficiency in editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar).
• Understanding of core video editing principles, audio syncing, and platform aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1).
• Strong attention to detail, creative mindset, and reliable communication skills.
• Required: Link to a portfolio, demo reel, or sample work (Google Drive, YouTube, Behance, etc.).

Work Details & Compliance

• Work Arrangement: 100% Remote (Work on your own laptop/computer).
• Engagement: Independent Contractor (Full-time commitment).
• Payment: Monthly payment in USD via direct bank transfer.
• Taxes: As an independent contractor, you are responsible for reporting your income and paying applicable personal income taxes in Pakistan (FBR).
• Intellectual Property: All project files, raw assets, and final edits created during the internship remain the exclusive property of Genifem.
• Portfolio Usage: Client materials are confidential. Published work may be included in your private portfolio upon prior written approval from Genifem.
• Work Eligibility: Candidates must have legal authorization to work and receive bank transfers in Pakistan.
